Took a minute to figure out the process, but it went quick once I did. I like that you can work off the spool of material, rather than cutting it and hoping you have enough to finish.

Just as that straw (or whatever it is) is going through the loops at the end of the pouch, just run your cords through. If it's a single strand, loop it through and tie a knot. Or if you want a braid, you can pass multiple cords through and start the braid.

Admittedly there could certainly be a fancier method, but that's outside my knowledge. Grin

I hit it with my third shot. Then I missed it for the best part of an hour. Just as well: my binoculars were in there.

10 shots per sling at a graffiti (couch-sized, at 27 paces). My best results were with a very long sling (tip of finger to opposite shoulder) with big stones, and smallish stones with very light sling. (Not great results— about 3 hits out of 10). The other slings were too chunky and dragged to the left. Style: helicopter with three rotations.

This stuff is stiff! Had to prop it with some heavy salt shakers to get it to behave for the photo Very excited to break this in and see how it does. Light too, only 26g!

Been a while since I've been around here much. Stopped in and lurked now and then. Made a couple new slings. 2 hemp balearics one is 22" the other (I literally just finished) is 16". Folded length. Stones are a mix of sand topping mix and bonding agent. Good to see you all.
