Caleb, if you're seeing this, thanks for sharing that picture.  I really miss the guy. He was a joy to chat with. We had a chat on Instagram going for a few years and he was always so kind, supportive, and on top of it all, really damn funny.  I miss him a lot.

He actually changed my outlook on a few things. One very simple but illustrative example of how he changed my outlook is when people would post slings on here. Sometimes people post these beautiful, amazing, incredibly well crafted slings that must've taken hours. He always complimented those.  Then people would post these slings that looked like a toddler had thrown them together and couldn't be bothered to spend more than a few minutes making it. He would always compliment those, too.  And he meant it.  I didn't understand why he would compliment people's terrible looking slings. I thought that he shouldn't compliment them, that telling them they looked like a toddler made their sling would strive them to try harder and make better slings next time.  But he would always compliment them instead, genuinely believing that they were excellent.  After seeing it enough, I started to come around to his view.  Regardless of how terrible looking, or juvenile the construction he believed they were well done. That was just the way he was, always supportive, always building people up.   I think he really helped shape this community because of how he handled himself. He just supported everyone regardless of their skill level and really made it an inclusive atmosphere. He helped people get better just by positive reinforcement. I've come around to his way of thinking, that everyone has their own skill level, and that what they present IS good and that telling them otherwise isn't helpful to their growth. Helping people know they've done well, because the only one they're really competing against is their former selves.   

He was also really diplomatic handling disagreements. I think his approach made everyone else keep it civil because of how he handled himself. He led by example in that way.  Morphy (Josh) was a true foundation stone in this community.  I think he has had a lasting effect on it.
