There are many excellent choices. This is my first one: Monty Python's Always Look on the Bright Side of LIfe.

Something with bagpipes.  I'm not Scottish, but I love them.

I want to play one of the jack in the box songs so people will think I'm going to pop out of the coffin.

Hello RM, speaking of funerals, how would y'all know if I was to pass away (like to add me on Remembering Members etc), would some members or mods be willing to add me on facebook to see news if I were to pass. Random thought I was having.  (I'm still a fairly young man in 30s but a lil poorly on health, but overall okay besides my liver)

I would gladly add you to my Fascistbook but I am banned from that and all things Meta.  I hope your health improves.
I'm in pretty good health but old as hell so I've had similar thoughts.  I've instructed a couple of friends to post the news here when I croak.  Hopefully one of them will remember to.

How the heck did you get banned Rat Man!? LOL

I love the popcorn idea - that's next level!

My grandfather had the oddest request - and noone knows why he chose it specifically - it was some Janet Jackson pop song... It still puzzles us all to this day. As a family we tried and tried but cant figure it out - He was a cheeky one so maybe that was his plan...

Follow the Sun by Xavier Rudd is crazy good... prob my pick

They said I posted porn on Instagram.  I've never posted porn anywhere in my life.  I was banned for my political views.  Anyway there is life after Fascistbook.

So almost certainly no one has heard of this song before, but my choice is Going Up by Coil. It's actually technically a cover of the theme tune of the 70's British sitcom "Are You Being Served?". The show is set in a department store and the theme tune lists different floors of the store and what's sold there to a pretty upbeat tune. It's a silly, camp comedy show full of double entendres and tongue in cheek humour and the theme reflects that.

Coil changed it. They took this silly song made for a comedy series about a shop and somehow transformed it into this haunting melody that sounds so ethereal and melancholic. The lyrics are the same, but made hauntingly beautiful to the point of being barely recognizable. I think it really speaks to the beauty and absurdity of death. It's mundane and fantastical and strange and normal at the same time and this song, of any song I've ever heard, captures what death means the best. The fact that the two principal members of Coil have now died, Jhon Balance before the song was released, adds to it and I won't lie it's brought me to tears before. I love this song and think it's perfect.
