I swear--if I didn't have this tutorial bookmarked, It would be hell to find. It took me three and a half days just to find it again the first time, and that was after only 2 months had passed! Now that it's 2 years old, it would probably be next to impossible.
(I recommended it [and a couple other tutorial threads] to be edited into Aussie's "FAQ and Tutorial" thread, but it probably just fell through the cracks. Sad

)

I may not use mine much, but I still love 'em too

(I usually opt for a seatbelt sling when it comes to non-braided slings, which happens to be another Aussie original)

I'd like to try against a tennis practice wall (they have this square aiming point in the centre).

I pre dyed the strands before I put it all together. No sythetic whip yet, I add that after it breaks in which takes about 3 weeks. Hope you like it!

I found this sling-- a nylon cord PJ model-- in a pocket. Took it for some spins, inspired by Huntmansling's recent posts. Alas, the pouch is too flat, and the cord is too slippy, so that, for the first in a long time, the stones escaped the pouch. I cannot get, with this thickness of cord (?) the right cupping of the pouch. I will dispose of this, in favour of rockman models or pouches of rougher material.
