Step 3: permanently connect the center of the paracord loops and the pouch will be finished.
IMPORTANT: the centers of the paracord loops should permanently fixed together over a distance between 2.25” to 2.50”. This distance forms the pouch to tennis ball size…so adjust this distance if you are using some other size ball.
Option A: since this sling is for tennis balls, very likely just duct tape would do the job of keeping the paracord loops connected. Just make sure you use enough layers of duct tape so that the loops do not fly apart as you spin the sling. This is the easy, fast option.
Option B: using #18 nylon mason line, connect the centers of the paracord loops with whipping. This is the option I chose and it did not take too much time to do. Perhaps it is more durable than duct tape as well (?)
In any case, I did not have duct tape on hand but I have plenty of mason line, so option B was for me!
