Hello everyone. It has been a long time since I last visited this forum, and it gladdens my heart to see so many faces, both new and familiar, continuing in this incredible hobby.

Just to reintroduce myself, hi! I'm Brian, originally from Alabama, now residing in Washington state. I have a variety of crafting hobbies, including leather working, metal working, wood working, and sewing, most of which I now use while participating in my local LARP group. A massive J.R.R. Tolkien fan, I also do "living history" as a Middle Earth ranger, though I haven't been as active with that lately as I was in the past.

Much has changed since I was last here, but one thing that remains the same: I still carry a sling in my pocket everywhere I go! I don't make as many as I used to, or sling as often, but my eyes are always searching the ground for rocks that are just the right size and shape, and I relish any opportunity to send them on their way at speed.

I probably won't get back to being as active here as I used to be, but I will try to stop in more frequently!
