A random YouTube video popped up one day while goofing off on my phone and now apparently I am into slinging!

The video was by pan slings called “an extension of throwing”. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/vVywF9ha5LM

What amazed me was the view from the front of how faster the ball was throwing from the sling. Being a former baseball pitcher, seemed like free speed…so had to try it.

Yep. It is fast!! Accuracy little more difficult, although after a month I am hitting my target 75% of the time from 10 yards. Seems like should be 100% but keep telling myself 40% accuracy pitching 5 baseballs will get you a 3-2 full count and that ain’t bad.

Anyway, glad to have found this site and look forward to continuing this hobby.

Were glad to have you. Welcome from Montana! Try not to worry about accuracy, it will come as you refine your release mechanics. To me, set of 5 relatively closely spaced shots even if theyre far from the target means more than if you hit a target once with 4 other wild shots.
