good day folks.
thx to the admins for the quick turn around on registration.
I'm a mechanical engineering student, love the fiber arts and the great outdoors so its honestly kinda shocking i hadn't gotten into slinging sooner  Grin

Just finished building my first properly engineered sling a bit ago(pic related) and now im working on getting my practice in.

Hello, friend! I recommend taking screenshots. It is more convenient to view on this forum when the image is no more than 600 pixels wide. I usually take a screenshot and crop everything superfluous in the photo.

you can ask in the search how to take a screenshot and watch videos, there are many of them on the Internet. It's very simple. Good luck!

There is a convenient program in Windows. this is a scissors program where you can find it on your computer. This is what her badge looks like.Look for it, you probably have it on your laptop in the accessibility section.

Yes, it's an antique-style forum, like our sling-throwing hobby, and that's the beauty of it. Smiley

Welcome!
I like the sling design, echoes of Primal Slings.
I cant quite tell from the photo, what knot are you using for the finger loops? is it adjustable?

thx the design is indeed inspired by primal slings but i have the aramid connected through the pouch(balearic style split braid) and i think his has the retention and release cords as seperate pieces connected to the pouch.  As for the finger loop im not sure what its called but its basically half a square knot on two bights, pretty easy to adjust.

Oh i didnt realize the cord was braided I thought it was a single strand. Those thin braids take a while, props.
I havent dissected the primal sling i have but i believe its a splice sling as the base with the cobra weave overtop.
Looks and sounds like a good functional sling!
