Egg Challenge 2026
Mar 25th, 2026 at 11:40pm

We made it to Spring (on the northern half of the planet anyway) so let's get the Egg Challenge posted.  I think everyone knows the routine.  Grab your sling, smash an egg, post a video with your victorious hit!

Ready...set...GO!!!

Here we go! Sorry for the wind noises and sorry for the poor visibility of the flying bullets.

It would be great to see screenshots of your targets and shooting. I want to understand how we shoot, the distances, etc. Unfortunately, I can't see your videos on YouTube yet. I'm in. I'll try to make a video))

Rule no.1: Have fun!

I don´t know of any other rules  Smiley. I adjusted the size of the egg to my ability of slinging. So I made two big eggs out of clay.

I got it second hand. It was a big tent (like in the picture attached). But setting the tent up takes a few minutes, and it likes to fall over and the floor of the tent was falling apart, so I just use the net.

Ah nice! i saw that exact on when I was looking but I wasn't sure if it would be any good given how cheap it was (~65€)

I made it hollow, so it was about 400 g.

I have a similar one, but not exactly the same. The mesh size of mine seems to be bigger than what the picture shows. Because I got mine second hand and there is no brand name on it, I can not say which one exactly I have.

Ha very good! It was very satisfying how cleanly it split in half! Excellent shots on both eggs.

And that shockwave from the glande that passed through the net looked really cool!

Ahh sorry guys, I don't think I'm going to have a video this year after all. One idea didn't pan out and I just haven't had the time to put another one together!

I have mine recorded but still need to cut it together.  Things have just been way too busy lately.  I should have it up before going to Down South though.

Thanks man!  I do really like ice balls.  They're kind of a cheat code for clean release.
