Nice! Definitely better with a group, I gotta start something around here to build one up!

Those rocks the cowboy was throwing(Caspian?) were enoooooormous. Totally nuts he could hit anything with them!

Yes that would be me  Smiley I love my big stones - they're so incredibly satisfying. I just checked and the stone from the hit at the 58 second mark weighs 430 grams, so around the weight of the Attic mina.

And it's still got a slight orange hue  Grin

The one libra stone is the greatest missile conceived by mankind - nay, conceived of by nature herself.

That was awesome guys!!! Thumbs Up
Looked like so much fun!  Great to see everyone slinging.

There's still time if anyone else is thinking of pumpkining. Wink

I did a little close-up video on the metronome setup I used in my video.  It's here if anyone is interested: https://youtu.be/L_X9ejylAd4.

Wow! A true giant-killer.

I mostly use light slings so I don't think I could throw a stone that large at all, let alone accurately! It does look very satisfying though, especially on these incredibly durable pumpkins. I'll have to get out one of my balearic slings and give some of these monster stones a try.

Nice, thanks! Love the simplicity in the setup, it works great.

Not sure I'll be building my own pumpkin metronome anytime soon, but I have a few ideas how to use some of these concepts on some other projects  Smiley

I managed to get one good hit at a pumpkin yesterday, but unfortunately it was more luck than skill. Had fun anyways Smiley
