Howdy, Y'all. My name is Wayne Pierce, I am born, raised, and still live in Georgia in the United States. I am a primitive weapons, technology, and survival enthusiast. I took up slinging roughly three weeks before this post, and in that time I have made seven slings. Six of them in the Balearic style and one in an Egyptian style. Before taking up slinging I was, and still am a traditional archer with a specific love of the English Longbow. I am fascinated by the sling. Its comparable power and range to the bow is amazing. However, while I can hit what I am aiming at with my bow I am still trying to hit it with the sling. Practice, practice, practice. Thank y'all for having me.
