I'm Niklas, and I'm very excited to finally join the conversations on this forum!

I first discovered the sling in a book when I was about 14 years old. After a few tries, I decided it wasn’t worth the risk of hitting myself. A few years later, I made a slingshot with a balloon elastic and an aluminum frame as a gift for my little brother’s 10th birthday. I got instantly hooked and spent a few years intensely building and shooting slingshots.

Last year, I made a throwing sling for snowballs for my little brother’s 16th birthday. Although he didn’t care too much, I was, once again, immediately hooked! XD Since then, I’ve been enjoying this hobby a lot. I carry my sling every day and try to practice as often as possible.

This forum has been a great source of learning and inspiration. Now I feel ready to participate!

Haha, I haven't tried it yet XD. Should it help with accuracy or power? Unfortunately, slingers are quite rare over here, so I haven't met one who I didn't teach myself.
