Hello from Vancouver Island Canada

Thanks for having me. I’ve been slinging for about 4 months and practice on a rocky beach here on Vancouver Island. I made a simple paracord single strand sling with a leather pouch to start and before I knew it I was ordering a sling from practical paracord haha. I follow the online slinging competition on YouTube as well. Most recently I’ve been using a polypropylene sling I bought from Etsy made by a fella in Mexico. I’m a young (40) retired Canadian navy veteran, currently a stay at home dad to 2 girls. I look forward to reading the forum and getting to know some like minded folks. Have a good weekend. Cheers
