Heyo everyone!

Im 22 years old and live in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, and i've been browsing bits and peices of slinging.org ever since i got back into slinging full time, the forum layout still confuses me a bit but im sure ill get used to it.

I've been casually slinging for a couple years now and only recently gotten really into it, im a real crafty person, some of my crafts include; leatherwork, chainmail/wirework, rope work, woodwork, paper making, book binding, spinning yarn, weaving, tablet weaving, and simple claywork, slinging and sling making was just the next logical step.

I started my slinging adventure with a twisted rope sling with a woven pouch (much like primitive survivals sling) but i now realize that balearic slings are the way to go, my current main sling is a 30inch sisal 5 braid balearic with a leather lined pouch and a double plyed cotton wrapped finger loop with dyneema line cracker (pics included).

Believe it or not but this is my 4th ever balearic sling, my background in rope making, yarn spinning and leatherwork cause my skills to be unreasonably proficient at balearic sling making, saying that im always trying to learn how to make them better every chance i get.

Looks great! Maybe your rope making/braiding skills can help me figure out how to make a polynesian style! I've made some progress, but adding rows and material is the part that confuses me that I haven't figured out.
