Whats new in the world of slinging.org?  I've not been on the forum for a long while and figured I'd come see how things are going.

Yeah, we sadly lost CA almost 2 years ago.  Rat Man and myself were bumped up to admins.

There isn't much participation from older members anymore.  A lot of the current traffic on the forum is from newer members (which is great to see).  We have some fantastic new sling maker!

To spread slinging information out a little more on the forum we have a couple new boards, which you may have already seen.  Instructional and tutorial stuff can now be found in the Sling Academy board: https://slinging.org/forum/YaBB.pl?board=SlingAcademy.  And it's not very active, but we have a board for social media stuff: https://slinging.org/forum/YaBB.pl?board=Podcast.  The social media board is actually a repurposed board that was dedicated to a sling podcast (called Catch This) that a couple members (Kick and NooneOfConsequence) did for a while.  It's not going any longer, but everything is linked there and still worth listening to if you're interested.

In the Sport and Competition board, the Pumpkin Challenge (https://slinging.org/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1726534229) for this year is now open.  No entries yet.  I was hoping to do mine before going to Internationals in Ibiza, but it will have to wait until I get back.

That's the stuff that came to mind at the moment.
