Do we have any actors among our ranks?  I only did one bit of acting in my life.
    It was for a Cub Scout play involving a Civil War drama.  I was eight or nine.  A young Union soldier had fallen asleep at his post.  He was scheduled to be executed by firing squad the next morning.  His mother was begging Abraham Lincoln to pardon him.  I was Lincoln. 
    I had the longest speech in the play. It was the kaboom part and the grand finale. I had my lines memorized well.  I had practiced it dozens of times.  It went off flawlessly.  I pardoned the soldier and got a really nice ovation. 
    As well as that went it ended up being the only acting I ever did.
