This thread started before I joined the forum.  And the August post was too close the event.  But I think I'd be happy to drive down next year if it happens.

@scantPalaver If we thought hard about how to implement it, we could try for something in eastern WA state at the Columbia river. (400m across or more in a lot of areas where I'm thinking) I've gone to "Jackson Creek Fish Camp" and it's a pretty good spot. Plenty of perfect ammo and no need to retrieve it. However, you'd have to somehow set up buoys to mark the distance and I don't have a boat that could handle the current.

That could be something in the May or April timeframe.
