Hi, I would like to make a paracord sling. Bought a 15m bulk of one  colour paracord rope and I want to make 54'' sling, something in a style of smiling sling of Practical Paracord, but one colour.

My first problem, might sound silly....but I have no clue, the lenght of paracord to cut of the bulk and work with, the initial lenght in cm I will need for such sling.

If You can post me a link to some good guide I will also very much appreciate that and it will help me a lot, as there is lots of guides, but no clue which to choose, which is complex yet simple and initially is showing the process step by step, either on some web, here or youtube.

I will appreciate any kind of Yours help guys. I also read, that there was some book on slings in plans. Is it already published and eventually where can I buy it please?

First rule of sling making:  Always cut much more than you think you'll need.  There is nothing worse than being almost done and coming up short.
