Greetings from Colorado.

Hey everyone. My name is Nicole, I'm 36 and recently moved to Colorado from New Jersey. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your community. I tried getting a firearm for self defense for my birthday but was rejected due to some bullshit, so I decided to find the best alternatives and got into the slinging community.

I've been slinging for a few weeks now, but I already wore out my first sling and ordered 5 more from 3 different makers (four if you count my first sling) to get a feel for things. I'm very excited to start entering the online competitions practicalparacord runs.  I'm also very stoked to give his sling a shot once I get my hands on it.

Dude practically had it shipped before I clicked to buy. That's how you run a business.

Welcome from your home state of New Jersey.  Camden County to be more specific.

Once, Toivo and Eino were out hunting, and before setting out, Toivo told Eino to fire three shots in the air if he got lost, and Toivo would find him. Soon enough, Eino got lost, aimed his weapon up and prayed: "God, please let Toivo see my arrows!"

Oh hey. Born and raised Monmouth county. Only just moved to Colorado in May, but now I have tennis walls in walking distance as opposed to everything being in driving distance.

I am very excited to start participating in the tournaments.  Been working on my distance accuracy.  I've been throwing like twice a day every day for the last 3 weeks. I'm absolutely hooked lol.

I'm also going to try to build up a local group out here to get more people into the sport/hobby.  I've loved it, it's a surprising amount of exercise, and ever since I started cracking on some throws, I've been working harder than ever.  I've been able to get some serious power and consistently shoot straight enough to be able to receive the ball without moving much at all from the wall.  Now if only I could get my target height perfected, I'd be nailing Diana all day- she'd be begging for a rest.

Glad to have you. Welcome from California! The competition is very fun, and it's way more nervy than you'd first think which makes it that much more unique of an experience, so I would definitely recommend giving a shot.

Haha, I get a little nervous just recording my throws against a wall, not even a target.  On the other hand, I'm a former cam model and am used to performing under pressure live lol.  More than anything I love how all the slingers from all over the world have their own slings, styles, and methods- there doesn't seem to be a one size fits all approach.
