Hi from Utah, United States. Not new to the forum, I've been a member for a longtime but had to start a new account in 2018 because of an email change. I have known how to sling since I was taught by a friend in high school but only ever used the sling to blow off steam and throw for distance. As I aged (I am 45 this year) I got out of the habit of taking a sling with me but I stumbled onto "Practical Paracord" on YouTube and Channing got me interested again. I am using it to help me remember to exercise daily after a long time of inactivity. I am enjoying myself and wanted to delve into the hobby a little more and see if I can develop some accuracy. I am enjoying perusing the forum. Hopefully I can add to the knowledge base. I have been playing with experimental archaeology and primitive skills and weapons of all types since I was a kid. Slinging is just one of many weapon types I am fascinated with.

He's definitely brought slinging to the attention of a lot of people.
