Taylor Swift has taken the world by storm.  She is certainly the current "it" girl.  Are you swept up in this wave of mass adoration?
      I'm not.  I think she has a good voice, she's reasonably pretty, and seems like a good person.  I don't hate her or her songs but I don't purchase any of her music and generally don't listen to it.  I wish her continued success and a long and happy life.  But I honestly don't see what the fuss is about. 
     So am I wrong?  Am I missing something?  Is she really all that?

I don't particularly like or dislike Taylor Swift's music or have anything against it. It's just not the music I listen to very often.

That being said, I do think that her music has improved in recent years, and maybe that's why so many people like it.

I think for the most part I don't listen to any up to date music. Usually the select good stuff that remains after the passage of a decade is decent.

Let me know when she makes a cover of Dark Side of the Moon. I still wont listen but at least I will respect her taste in music.

I have nothing against her but for me music died in the mid to late 2000's. If we include Muse maybe a few years longer. Im getting old...I know I dont look it, but I feel it. Like butter scraped over too much bread.

My life has changed and I now inhabit the same space as a 10 year old female.
Although this changes each year as she gets older !
As a result I am now aware that a Tailer Swift is a female musician not a rapid squirrel.
Were you paying attention to the attention fragmentation / discord servers rant ?
If a melodic concordance of sounds pleases your ears then be happy.
If you listen to music because the music industry, in chasing profit is pushing the latest big thing on you -as it has been doing since before before the Beatles, Abba, The Osmonds, Michael Jackson- then it is time to seek life insurance.
