stl-files of biconical projectiles
Jul 28th, 2023 at 12:43pm

I created an OpenSCAD-file for biconical projectiles wich can then be 3D-printed to create molds for casting, for example. You can enter the desired length and radius of the projectile, the resulting volume is echoed when rendering with the software.

I printed some. The scad file is very easy to modify. And I like  that there is a volume calculation. Very useful. Thanks again.

Interesting, the files that were linked seemed to have disappeared. Maybe message the Moderators and or 'kairo' directly

Not sure if the files are around somewhere but I put together some different glandes in onshape. If anyone has more optimal designs please share, I just eyeballed a variety. You should be able to make a copy and modify the sketches for whatever size or shape you want.

Unfortunately we can only recover deleted topics.  Deleted (individual) posts and attachments are not held in the Recycle Bin of the site.  The recovery option are pretty limited.  The poor old forum showing its age.  Sad

If anyone downloaded the file and still has it, please feel free to repost it here.
