A silly little experiment for y’all…
I borrowed a night vision monocular, 3D-printed a phone mount, and was experimenting with filming with NV while slinging in very low light. 
I also had a UV flashlight pointing at the target so I could see where shots landed… overall it worked pretty well!

It amazes me as to how dark it can be and one can still hit the target. I practice after dark all the time it helps to build muscle memory, my target has 2 distinct sounds(metal diana rings, wooden board thuds) so I know if I hit or not. And I usually just shot from 13m(44ft). I did a spoof video where I taped a laser pointer to my finger so I had a laser sighted shepherds sling and shot a diana with the first shot. Funny thing is the ball hit right where the laser last was, here is a link to the video enjoy.
