New Year Resolutions

The new year is almost upon us. Does anyone have any resolutions they wish to share?
As some of you might remember I bought a stationary bike earlier this year. I started out hot and heavy on it. I did it every day for two and a half months then without warning my right knee blew out. I think I might have had the tension set too high. It took almost three months to heal completely and after that I caught a nagging little cold that wouldn't go away. I'm just getting over that now. I've been stretching and dog walking twice every day but I haven't had the energy to do more.
So obviously my resolution is to get back on Torture Bike and whip my old ass into shape. I'll also start with the free weights again once I'm back into Torture Bike.

Change my old sling who gave up after more than a year of loyal service. Not difficult.

More seriously.
I started qigong in 2008 in a small local club. I learned a lot but I wanted to learn more. In Paris, I found a Chinese master. 3 years of practice with him.
And today, it's difficult to practice with French people. Westerners don't think like Chinese. And it's a strange feeling to see the cultural differences.
I'd like to find a local club where I feel good.

I've made enough of them that I didn't follow through on, so it became pointless to do it. And I'm just speaking for myself on that, not anyone else. Resolutions aside, I do have a sling-related goal I would like to accomplish. I hope to finally make it to the International competition in 2023.

I just want to enjoy every single minute of this year. I wish you a good year plenty of happiness and laughs to share with those that you appreciate. An early slinging practice was a good beginning of the 2023
