Now I will sing of Alex Johnson
A mighty hero with his sling
A firm friend to his friends
A terrible foe to his foes
One who spoke his mind without fear

He stood firm as he slung
His throw was true and strong
His stones flew like a storm
In truth his glory has spread

Now he has gone the way of no return
He joins the house of his fathers
But his name does not grow old
It lives on in the stories of him

I remember watching him throw stones at the Balearic competition two years ago.

This is a famous man among the slingers

We come into this world from God, and at the end of our earthly journey we return back to God

I don’t know what happened, why he left so early, it’s a pity.  rest in peace

Forever in memory like the Aussie and Jesus Vega

Alex, despite everything, and us never getting past that incident, I always respected you, and thought highly of you. I'm sorry for many things. One being that we both lost a friendship, a second that I never got a chance to either apologize, nor send my wishes about dear wee Bilbo's passing- I remember how much he meant to you. I know that you're off somewhere else in the beyond, kicking about with Aussie, hucking tennis balls for your pups and cracking open an eternally cold one that never goes flat, with a big rack of bbq ribs and all the fixings. At least I hope that's what you've got, if not something better...

requiescat in pace, friend. I've missed you forever, and will do for years to come.  Cry
