THE MENORQUIN SLINGER LLUIS PONS LIVERMORE

AWARDED BY THE WORLD SHOOTING ASSOCIATION WITH HONDA AS THE MOST COMPLETE


During the last "3rd Honda Shooting World Cup", held last October in Ibiza
the Minorcan slinger, Lluis Pons Livermore, was awarded for being one of the most complete slingers and for
his constant promotion of this tradition of ours, here and outside our borders.

Lluis Pons already stood out and much in the minor categories, he got Records and several championships of the
Balearic Islands in different categories, was the person who threw the furthest and the one who achieved the most speed.

For several years he also dedicated himself to conducting workshops and visits to different schools on the island of Menorca.

Another of the aspects that Lluis highlighted was that of traveling through several countries making known the tir de fona and in
some interviews and videos made, he was the protagonist, so he helped a lot outside the Balearic Islands.

Lluis Pons Livermore, at the end of the 4 runs in Sant Carles, won a statue identical to the one
They took the 2022 champions, Modesto Mañas in men and Maria Tur in women.
