Some of you might recall a few years ago when I tried and failed to process acorns.  This video explains in detail how to do it.  Apparently I was on the right track with my attempt but didn't use enough leaching cycles.  If I had leached them a few more times I would have been fine. 
    This woman has a whole series on foraging that even someone with a good knowledge of edible wild plants like me can learn from.   They are very easy to understand with many pictures.

   She also has a video on Poke Weed.  I might give that a try next Spring.  Tons of it grow wild around here.  I've never touched it because I was brought up to believe that it's deadly poison.
