Seems writing on munitions is an old practice.
Something new might be 'G'DAY'. The US Marine Corps has been using the expression 'OORAH' since the mid 80's. Other services there are said to use 'HOORAH' or 'HOOJAH'.
I haven't learned any other new expressions.

The G'DAY stamps came out great Smiley

I've got one Greek phrase/ word that literally means: 'up your arse !'.
Have to check on the workshop computer later, what it actually is.

But yep,very slinger worth their women and wine, had their own embellished ammo.
