Promoting slinging idea with geocaching

Hey all - its been a while - Ive missed you all!

I've been getting into geocaching with my wife and kids and its been mad fun...

I'm gonna start making slings and leaving them as SWAG in the caches... I thought it might be a good way to expose more people to slings. I'm also gonna print a QR code and attach it with a link  - I was thinking maybe even to a thread in this community with one or two hyperlinks for how to use a sling...

Anyone else wanna join in the promo?

Oh that is an AWESOME idea! My wife and I have a lot of fun geocaching. Leaving a sling is such a simple way to promote it.

This is the first time I ever heard of geocaching.  But that does sound like a great idea!  Thumbs Up

Its mad fun - especially with kids.

I've just made up a stack of 5km pace bead sets which I will be leaving in caches - but once done with that I'm gonna start leaving slings and QR to David Morningstar's balearic video.

Have gotten 2 really cool 'pathtags' from geocaching - (check them out - might be worth making a slinging pathtag!) - would really get people looking it up...

There's a slinging.org at code in the admin section.
