I would probably try to combine it with something else. When I braid slings, I usually use cordage that's 1 - 2mm. But I generally start with 8 strands of about 20 ft.

I've done multiple slings with mixed cordage. One of my favorites is hemp and linen braided together. The hemp is for strength and the linen creates a nice soft feel. A couple strands of kevlar in a braid with something else would definitely make it strong.

Taper each strand individually and braid with all strands . Light Beeswax treatment .

Now to find a pouch to match.

Yes I have also experiment with this years ago
And ran into some of the same issues . Tangling of lines and pouch control
That is why this time I hoping the stiffer Kevlar string; with the proper pouch might make the difference
But I have some interesting ideas now
I'll post the results shortly
And probably a video
