When we shot (in the school yard) paper planes with a small Staple Slingshots in the 70s. Who are we copying?

Copying is bound to happen, there is no better way to learn. In the video there is a claim to the idea, the timing between jaegoor mentioning it and the video upload was worthy of a joke.

Gatekeeping has happened and might happen again, nobody is perfect. It's good that it has been recognized so people can correct it themselves.

I do not mind.  and i don't claim that this idea is mine.  but it's funny.  I mentioned this here and Zack pops it up.  if it's a challenge, then right.  what is shown is bad.  sorry for saying that.  as children we would have been ashamed to show it.  a difficult part of the task is the paper airplane.  it's not easy to let him fly straight.

Mersa OK .  you like challenges  then try this. make a paper plane.  let him fly  the plane should move away from you.  he shouldn't be circling you.  if you're good, you'll hit the flyer when he's about 10m away from you.  at 8 m no one is crying.  you'll find it's not easy to throw a paper airplane straight ahead.  but just throwing a flyer will improve your skill with the sling.  understood everything?

It’s a cool shot and I understand that a good  design paper aeroplane will perform much better for sure.
It’s shot that requires lots of things .  Good slinging abilities, good paper aeroplane, good weather conditions, good filming setup. Sure I get what’s on the table but it’s not a shot for me. I have a list of “trickshots” I like and others are pushed back for now.
Personally I’d prefer a frisbee or flying disk or clay target.
But at the moment I’m struggling to even sling 30 throws a week so right now I’m not achieving anything

I sometimes have to make a video, of the paper airplane models we made as a child.

I've made one out of sheet metal, but there are still problems with it.
