Glad to be here
Jan 18^th, 2022 at 6:42pm

Hello from Upstate New York.

My interest in slings was primarily historically, but also biblically inspired.

Originally I wanted to learn bow and arrow due to general historical interest and other friends who practice it. Unfortunately, I am not able to fully use my left arm (I'm a righty) due to medical issues, so I saw a sling as a clear alternative.
I bought a paracord one and am now going to try to make my own. I'm looking forward to getting more slings made of different materials, lengths, and in different styles.

I really love that I can tuck a sling into my pocket and take it anywhere. Whenever people and property aren't around I can just use it. I'm primarily slinging old veggies and attacking my local lake with rocks. I have some clay on the way to try my hand at making some bullets.

Howdy from South Texas! You’ve come to the right place. You’ll be hard pressed to find a more portable projectile launcher than the sling. Welcome to the addiction!

“My final hour is at hand. We face an enemy more numerous and cunning than the world has yet seen. Remember your training, and do not fear these unholy hordes. I shall cast the first stone. That will be your sign to attack! But you shall not fight this enemy with stones. No! RAZOR GLANDES! Aim for the eyes! May the Lord have mercy, for we shall show none!“ -Jesus the Noodler (not the real Jesus)

I'm extremely close; you can tell because I am currently cold inside my apartment.
I'm actually ex-10th Mountain. That's why I'm still in this area. The local VA is amazing and the staff seems to actually care.

And the area is stunningly beautiful. But if you live there you'd better like snow.
