Does it still function as a scarf ?
As a non hat and scarf wearing person, I have no experience if what a scraf needs to still work Smiley

I believe Willie Garvin fashioned a sling from modesty blaises bra in one of the books.

And a towel - as everybody knows - is an essential multipurpose item we should all carry at all times.

But scarves, I think are new Smiley

It does still function as a scarf! I'm bald so a hat is essential in the cold, but the scarf helps in the winter time because my house gets cold. As long as it keeps my neck warm I consider it working.

Ja. Nimm einen leder Gürtel mit breiter Schnalle. Die Schnalle kannst du als Griff verwenden. Für die Finger. Das Gürtel Ende hälst du ganz normal. Stein in die Mitte. Los geht's. Es ist zunächst sehr ungwohnt. Aber es funktioniert . Man gewöhnt  sich daran.🤣🤣

Wait… you sew conveyor belts together at work?  When are we going to see a conveyor belt sling pouch?

How do you like those heavy duty  manual industrial sewing machines? I’ve seen them on eBay for around $100 and am occasionally tempted to buy one.

I have actually considered it! They're typically really stiff, but there's one or two that miiight work, ironically it's the one belt style that needs to be sewn. I used to have to do it entirely by hand!

I was surprised at how well it works on heavy materials, it's a little fiddly to set up but overall I think it's worth it. If I didn't have access to one I would consider buying one myself.

since you got the conveyor belts bits, you can look for Aussie's sling pouch on the archives of the forum
