Not sure ayone's going to get anything before christmas - certainly none of the internationals will arrive, even if people are super organised (don't look at me lol)

so a couple of tips for sending international parcels.

1) never declare the actual value on the customs form. Most countries will charge import tax on anything much above £10 and they will charge you a 'fee' for the privilege of so doing. So keep your values UNDER 10 euros/dollars/pounds.
1a) always tick the box for 'gift. There is a higher 'notax' limit on gifts than on commercial packages.

2) describe contents as: childs toy or shephrd sling.
Don't get creative - the last thing you want to do is to get the customs people interested enough to open the parcel. And while I know of no country where slings are illegal, it doesn't hurt to just make sure

3) if you want to pay extra for international tracking - it's usually not that much more (£2 extra in the uk). DO NOT PAY FOR internationally signed for !
That is a lot more expensive and completely pointless.

Right then lets have a mini-competition.

1) furthest internation sling travel
2) furthest internal sling distance for america.

We've got two slings going between the uk and australia and one from oz to the states.
So that's going to be close.

I have absolutely no clue where most american states are - so no idea on who's got the longest there.

Plus tend to save addresses under actual names, not usernames - I mainly remember usernames lol Forunately most people list on on their profile I have a vague feeling serkraus isn't in the states, but probably wrong lol

well you've seen the video - unless I can get a really compact lightweight tripod - no way to improve on the handheld quality.

But after a lot of being chewed, thrown, bounced off corrugated metal - fun because you never know which direction they will richocet at.
I still have them both and they currently look like this.
A little worn and muddy, but still pretty much undamaged.

Lol! Yeah, that's why I have to sport such an awesome beard. Because the top of my head doesn't grow any hair. Wink

And it was no problem at all doing the drawing. Kind of fun actually.

Also, if anyone was curious about the slings that were hanging on the back of the couch, those are the SITH slings I've received to date. They were from walter, Mersa, and hubert. It seemed fitting to include them in the video.

My sling sent today. It has a journey of 16,443 kms ahead of it.
