indoor practice ammo? (Read 720 times)

SlingingFrog Novicius Offline Slinging Rocks! Posts: 2	indoor practice ammo? Oct 9^th, 2021 at 1:47pm Does anyone have suggestions? We have a large, high-ceilinged main room with hallways extending straight off of it, where I might want to practice. I wondered if wool felt balls (like they use for dryer balls, but maybe smaller) might work for a beginner getting the hang of basic techniques.

If (and that's a very important "If") there's nothing fragile or breakable in the room where you're considering slinging, might golf ball-size whiffle balls work?

Reply #4 - Oct 9^th, 2021 at 5:28pm It all depends on what the walls are made of, whether there are any objects you're worried about breaking, and if you have a net or some sort of target/backstop to catch the projectiles.

Wool dryer balls. They’re basically just like sock balls but more uniform. I even sling them straight at my phone.
