Jul 14^th, 2021 at 4:23pm Hey everyone! i’ve been creeping this forum for quite a while now and figured it was time for me to join up and start contributing to the community. i’ll try to include a few pictures of slings i’ve made and another that i’m currently working on that i hope to finish today or tomorrow.

cotton with kevlar stitching and wrap, beeswax coating, kevlar cracker, 1st attempt at a hybrid style trying to make a balearic style with a 4 round braid rather than flat 5. this one i’ll be modifying the pouch on, as it’s a little thin even after tapering up after the knee, and doesn’t hold projectiles well. i would also credit that to the round shape

this is version 2.0 of the balearic hybrid type i’ve been trying at. this one is hemp, and once it gets a shave will also be coated with beeswax. i added a 5th and 6th cord in about an inch above the pouch and used those to form the knee as well as the snake braid for the pouches. if this design proves successful i will probably remake it in a larger version.
