Slinging hail (Read 697 times)

Lightning Jack Ex Member	Slinging hail Jun 18^th, 2021 at 11:09pm Last night there was some thunderstorms in southern MN and some hail also came down. The storm stopped after about 15 minutes or so and I got the chance to sling some golf ball sized hail. I suppose it wasn’t too much different than slinging ice balls like joe meadmaker does.

I remember as a kid we went to an outdoor adventure type place with school. Whilst we were doing archery, a storm picked up and it started hailing REALLY hard. We all had to cram ourselves under this really tiny covered area and I ended up being on the edge, only just under the roof. I got hit in the chin with a hailstone the size of a marble. What was crazy is that it had snow in the middle and was covered in ice so looked like a marble too. Hurt like a... very painful thing. That was mini compared to yours so that thing looks like a very not good time.
