Ok all, this one is sure to appeal to people (hopefully!) but for opposite reasons of previous design contests!
Instead of looking into the future, lets take a look in the past. In this thread the only rule is that whatever sling you make can only be made with a one edged tool and any other "natural" tool you can make with that tool from nature. This means harvesting your own source of fiber, making a drop spindle if thats a direction you want to go or braiding loose fiber into cordage etc.
As for tools you can use your edged tool to, for example, make a wood club to pound the fibers out of a plant but you cannot use a knife to cut an existing modern made tool or material and count that. Everything but the tool involved in making the sling MUST come from nature!
Slings can be normal slings, staff slings, kestros or any other design you feel like making so long as its au naturel.
