Nice find.

That's a really tough choice, but I would go with this one: https://www.britishmuseum.org/collection/object/E_Am1937-0213-86.  I like the red a lot.

The are a few very intriguing ones on there. Same place I found the Hawaiian sling made from Olona. I think they deserve their own threads.

@Teg. That was my fav as well!

@AlbionSlinger Also, did you see there was one with a sling similar to your multi-braid pouch?  I thought that was pretty cool.

I like the All leather sling the best in this list. It is just like mine.
Not the most efficiënt sling, or most accurate, but it looks and
feels cool,  and super durable.

I actually think such An All leather sling is good for
Practice, because it really forces you to learn
To use the wrist and pouch orientation
To get a somewhat clean release. Because if you
Dont oriëntate properly with such a sling,. You Will
Feel and see it Wink it is not a forgiving design.

That's the first time I've ever seen the opposite of what we usually see, a sling called a slingshot.

The Cordaillot Sling has more secrets than you might think.  But there will be a publication this year.  The other sling probably originally came from Guam and was given to the Spanish museeum.  I asked for the original but it hasn't been answered yet.  It is a braid technique and macrame.  I am recreating them.  But I'm still missing details

Hi, Jaegoor,
If you showed a photo of Cortaillod, is that there's something going on.
I think I found the weaving method because a fabric found in France during the neolithic looks like.
And I will read your publication with a great pleasure.
