Nice Joe! Im trying to figure out what the bottom one might be.

...

Possibly a Golden Reishi. Most of the time I find reishis its in places I cant harvest them. I would love to find some fresh specimens to use as a supplement.

I have been absent as I have been going through some highs, lows and more than a little self discovery.
Yesterday I had a day on Big Moor. Did a little slinging.

panther caps. Not quite as much fun as the classic red and white amanitas the gnomes live under. Definitely not something you'd want to eat Smiley

Kinda weird time of yesr to see them though. In the uk they are usually an autumn fungi. And primarily woodland as well.

@ca I knew they were inedible amanitas but thanks for the I.D. They were found in a half acre wooded dell on the big moor.  Early due to climate change ??
@ Morphy, we are both very happy  , cheers.   Smiley

Saw these little guys in the yard at my mom and dad's place.  No idea what they are specifically, but I nicknamed them the hamburger bun mushrooms.  Cheesy

The smaller ones with the red cap are Russulas. Easy to id to a genus but species is a little different.

Old hamburger bun mushroom could be a lot of things. But its not complete without a well seasoned, well grilled burger, mustard, mayo and ketchup, a very sharp cheddar and oh I suppose a tomato is acceptable but no lettuce because we arent heathens here.
