@Morphy In my experience, the cupping does effect the timing, but not excessively. It is noticeable if you switch back to a flat sling, but I only noticed it after doing many throws.

Never used a loom for woven pouches but never found the need to, but I see it can give a nice unique effect. Does it produce a lot of waste cordage? I never like waste cordage

There is a lot of excess warp cord once the sling is finished. The offcuts are so long I have hanked them up to reuse them for other projects.

So long as the timing is consistent i suppose it doesnt matter much. Guess I would prefer less dropped shots in that case.

Not to ruin the threads, the answer is in the 6th and 7th pictures. Just twist the chain wires together on each side of the pouch.
