There are actually more uk slingers than you'd think.

The really really hard bit is getting the idle buggers to go anywhere and do anything.
As evidenced by the fact that only three of us have ever made it to the international in mallorca

I did run a sligning event in 2008 where about 20 people made the effort and turned up. A damn fine time was had by all.

Unfortunately I no longer have access to that particular field (it's now part of the national forest adventure farm). 

If I could get people to come - and as I'm pretty much smack bang in the geographical center of the country, it just makes sense for people to come to me.
I'm pretty sure i can source a suitable venue.
Real distance slinging is always going to be a problem.
But who can sling atennis ball furthest - is a definite possibility.

I've just realised a mate might have a suitable field or at least know someone who has.
