That lets your body naturally disperse all that momentum/energy/whatever instead of an abrupt stop. Keep on learning and being your own advocate. I will agree with Jaegoor on fig8 being harder on the body.

I’ve had some ways I’ve done it that it’s been pretty hard on my elbow. But the way I do it now feels pretty accurate and easy on the body. If my head falls off you guys will be the first to know.

( A tentative solution) Reply #22 - Jan 17^th, 2021 at 6:55pm Yeah I'm taking a break from slinging for about 4 weeks to let my body heal up, I think I've gone and pushed it too hard, but I was having a lot of fun so I have "no ragrets" I'll be doing some more archery in my downtime and working on my swordplay See you guys in a bit! thanks for all the support so far

I have seen how many other hobbies and interests have a place on this forum, I'm very impressed!

I don't think I have much to add to archery as a concept, as it is arguably one of the oldest and most well-known things ever (no disrespect slinging, but no one knows about slinging except sometimes old people and Christians and even then it's getting rarer.)

But if I do anything cool I will be sure to let you guys know!

you know, normie poopy, most people know what an archery is! they've seen lord of the rings and game of thrones, well documented historically accurate representations of bowing in the Skyrim times.

Slings though, they don't know about that, oh wait wasn't that in the bible? something about a young kid from the sticks one tapping a giant and marrying the princess?, yeah dude, nice.
