rock got stuck in the pouch and ripped it

That used to happen to a lot of my early slings, I'm thinking there was something wrong with my designs.

On a serious note, the sling didn't appear to go that far out.  And with the waves coming in, was it not recoverable?

I'll be honest, it was a freezing cold day (the only one we've had here in aus all month,) and the footage of me standing there afterward was me trying to decide whether I was willing to strip off and get soaking wet and freezing cold for the climb back out of my throwing area while my sling was slowly floating away in what looked like a mild rip-tide.

I got lazy and decided to make a new one.

My shame is now known.  Tongue Tongue

Totally understandable.  I can't say I would have done differently.  Undecided
