Ratty Woes

Some of you might have noticed me MIA for the past week and a half. Sunday before last I had another of those damned intestinal blockages. It was the same gruesome procedure as the other times with the NG tube and pumping. I'm at about 75% now and slowly getting my mojo back.
At first they were a year apart. Then nine months. The last one was only four months ago. This last one made five in four years. Consequently I've decided to take the bull by the horns an deal with this once and for all. After the holidays I'll be having surgery to correct this. It will be a relief not having to live with this hanging over my head.

I was out for about four hours. They were able to do it laparoscopically, without any resectioning. Roomy Mike will help with the dogs until I'm capable. Now I just have to heal and time will tell. Thanks for all the kind words.
