for night time slinging - you can buy 'kits' for things called 'throwies'.
Basically a bunch of leds a bunch of batterias and some strong magents.
To make a throwie you simple sellotap the three components together and throw it at something metallic.

https://www.amazon.com/led-throwies/s?k=led+throwies

So what you do is embed the throiwe in clay or quick setting cement. Or simlt taope a couple to a clay missile that has the correct shaped void for the throwie.

Make the clay missile, then press the throwie into the side to create the right shape. let clay dry, tape throwies into void/shape.

If not using magnets - then you just need the 3volt batteries and 3 volt led's.

I like it but it’s not what I had in mind but the more I think about it it might be a good way to make the challenge easier to do , because at least knowing where your projectile ends up might make the challenge easier.

To be continued,

I have got to get in on this next year!

My slinging was terrible!  I cringe every time I watch my little chicken wing motions Smiley
Normally I would use Byzantine, but I was really nervous about using rocks (Much heavier than my normal tennis balls) in my backyard while distracted by filming too.  I am surrounded by things and people that I really don’t want to hit with rocks if a shot went off in an unexpected direction, so I stuck with an underhanded throw that I wasn’t really used to. My form ended up looking pretty bad!

You guys are far too hard on yourself. Pumpkins can be wily creatures. Very difficult to hit. Can’t wait to take part in this next year. If I have my way explosives and rubber chickens will feature heavily in the video. I mean...did you expect anything else?

+1 to this.  Come on guys!  Unless I recall incorrectly, both of you got a gold star from CA for your videos.  Smiley
