This guy goes into detail about how total war has lost the visual and audible impact that totalwar used to have for ranged combat. He specifically goes into slinging aswell and shows off a few user videos on the power and range of the sling. There is timestamps in the description

This going to sound like a weird form of bragging but I was apparently a big motivator for making this video
The guy that made the video has a slinging Discord channel and we were talking about how slings are portrayed in media and I talked about how slings are always shown to be weak and ineffective when actually slings are devastatingly powerful weapons and can very easily kill, maim and have a huge psychological impact on a battlefield. He was already thinking of doing a video on this but apparently was encouraged to talk specifically about sling because I went on a rant. The lowest of claims to fame but yeah

It's a small world, isn't it! Probably even more so with slinging.

I've found that with small niche hobbies it can be very easy to find yourself in contact with the experts of that subject. I've been on this forum for a number of years and I've been to the international competition so I am in direct contact or I've met briefly or I know people that know people that are the best slingers in the world which is kind of crazy. In something like football, it's unlikely that you'll get to know the best footballers in the world and get tips from them. Slinging, just send a message to Jaegoor on here or his YouTube channel
