Thanks
everybody!

Thats cool! I was wondering if i could knit or crochet a sling.

Its #6 green C1 bonded nylon from alariobros.com.  I'm not strong enough to make nets anymore Cry, so I have a bunch of diff size string leftover to play with  Roll Eyes  I haven't slung in a long time. But, i'm getting stronger from making this sling  Cheesy. Maybe, I can sling again one day. Thats my goal anyways haha.  At the least, I think i'll just keep making slings, cuz it seems to be good for me  Wink

Wishing you all lots of fun with your slings!

Wow
thanks!

OMG My fingers and shoulders were hurting so bad today, so I'm now using a carabiner attached to a foot strap to tighten the braid. Its wayyy easier now, I have more control, and can watch the braid as it tightens too.  The carabiner forms a quick friction hitch, which i kinda madeup Cheesy. I weave while sitting in a chair, so this new setup allows me to weave more material before having to shift the work up. Smiley

I also started over because i got alot better at spinning the fiber half way through the project, and the top half was looking raggedy haha. But, I'm about to weave the knee again soooo
Woooohooo!

Can't wait to show you all soon when I'm done, and sling a tennis ball at my fence Cool but lightly so i dont hurt myself  Wink
