And finally, with scales, you can choose the weights of your slinstones.
For exemple, the 67 gr and the 61 to have a coherent range.
Or like me, a range with slinstones weighting about forty grammes.

That looks amazing!  You could easily spend hours there slinging and never realize the time has passed.

Nice selection of rocks you gathered up too.  Smiley

Not many places like that in the Netherlands, if any. I might find a river with stones 100 km from where I live, over the border in Germany.

Because of my little selection of stone ammo, I usually sling gravel. And because the gravel is sometimes very small, I made a shotgun sling with a piece of pvc tubing, which is really fun. Just grab a handfull of gravel and enjoy the many tiny splashes in the water.

I don't think I would leave if I found a place like that. Tent and a flag; my cove now!

Not if I get there first! It’s only a short swim from Texas. I’ll race you there!

My first idea with this topic is to show how it's easy to take good slinstones (right weigth and right shape) from an ordinary pile of pebbles.
I didn't realized that this cove is a place for dream. But it's true and I am sure you know anothers for slinging and dreaming on the Earth.

Now if only there was a beach made with perfectly shaped lead glandes...  Tongue

That's the only way you could ever top those beaches!

Oh I think we can top that fairly easily.
Chesil beach in the uk:

Nothing like that around here. That picture with the matching granite sling stones is awesome. I would love to have a place like that.

The matching granite sling stones are to defend the cove if many persons want to pitch their tents and flags.   Cheesy
Pebbles of Chesil Beach are perfect. I understand why the slingstones of Maiden Castle came from Chesil Beach. Thank you for the photos, Curious Aardvark.
