I'm working with a friend here in an Archaeology program to get an Archaeolympics going in Albany NY.

Of course, I'm making sure Slinging gets added as a significant event, using Slinging.org rules and tennis balls.

If there's anyone in the area aside from my half-dozen friends who I've inflicted slinging upon already in the area, you'll be more than welcome. I'll have more details later and keep everyone up to date.

I'm on the other side of the state Should be able to make it.

I'm in Pennsylvania and could also possibly make it.  Will depend on when it happens because I imagine I'll need to take time off work.  Definitely keep us up to date as things develop.

     Things are developing... just very slowly. There's a few obstacles right now, mostly on my end, but my contact in the local Archaeology program also had two deaths in the family and a number of other problems. Those need to get sorted first.
     Otherwise, we're looking at about Late April/ Early May.   Regardless of whether it's supported by the local colleges, I'll be running a Slinging Meet here in Albany annually in the next few years, I think, but that's a bit of a reach away right now.
